Winnipeg GoldeyesThe Winnipeg Goldeyes have made some interesting moves just in time for the Northern League’s trade deadline.

The team has acquired infielders Vince Harrison from Joliet and Mark Minicozzi from Kansas City, both for future considerations.

Harrison began the year in Schaumburg before being sent to Joliet later on. He arrives batting .324 with five home runs and 32 runs batted in.

Minicozzi sat out the 2008 season, but still arrives after batting .242 with nine home runs and 37 RBIs with the T-Bones.

Harrison and Minicozzi are both expected to play tonight as the Goldeyes take on the RedHawks in a double-header at Canwest Park. Game time is 6 p.m.
