Bison Football Ready to Tackle 2009-10 Season

August 18, 2009 12:55 PM | Sports

Football season is right around the corner — university football to be exact, and the U of M Bisons are getting set to open up training camp. Bison football head coach Brian Dobie discussed the upcoming season earlier today and highlighted some returning defence veterans making a return. Among those familiar faces are linebacker Thomas Hall and defensive lineman Eddie Steele.

The first on-field practice for the Bisons is Friday, August 21 and will have 86 players looking for a spot on the team. Their season begins on the road in Regina on September 4, before the team makes a return for their homecoming game on September 19 against UBC.

A new website was also launched today at BisonFans.ca to make it easier for fans to purchase tickets to all Bison games this season.
