iPhone 3GS Hard to Come By for Canadian Customers

Apple iPhoneCanadians looking to get their mitts on the new Apple iPhone 3GS are out of luck — at least for now. The popular mobile device, which came out on June 19, can’t stay on store shelves long enough. Most Rogers retailers across the country can’t keep up with the demand and have many on backorder.

Customers still have the option to purchase the phone online, but will have to wait for it to come in.

Those who really can’t wait can still find it in stock at Apple stores, which were reporting a fair number to be available on Tuesday. If the Winnipeg Apple store was already open, this wouldn’t be a problem locally.
