If it’s not mosquitoes or cankerworms, Manitobans are now dealing with wasps.
City entomologist Taz Stuart warned today of the emergence of wasps come September. Stuart said the wasp count is currently below what it normally is for this time of year, but that will change.
As for how to prevent yourself from feeling the pinch of those pesky little creatures, Stuart says to arm yourself with a good anti-hornet or wasp product and spray any visible nests at night time.
