Tonight will mark the end to “CBC News at Six,” as the nightly program will take on a new name and time slot come Monday.
“CBC News Winnipeg” will begin an hour earlier, filling your screen with the day’s events from 5 to 6:30 p.m.
According to the general consensus on Twitter, most folks are concerned about not being able to watch “The Simpsons” at 5 o’clock anymore.
Filling an hour and a half with news content surely can’t be easy. CBC will most likely run more stories from their national bureau and their other affiliates to fill time.
There’s also been word that the format will be three separate newscasts, with updated information as they move along.
