The Louise Bridge closed last week for maintenance and was expected to reopen tomorrow. The closure has now been extended until the afternoon of Tuesday, September 1.
It’s expected the bridge will be open prior to rush hour traffic.

The city also announced today plans to temporary close Marion Street east of Archibald. Beginning Thursday, September 3 at 10 a.m., the street will be inaccessible to traffic until Tuesday, September 8 at 6 a.m. Crews will be replacing a culvert nearby.
The intersection of Marion Street and Archibald Street will remain open. Local traffic access to businesses in the area will be maintained via Marion Street east and west of the Dugald Drain.
Winnipeg Transit Route 50 (Archibald) will be re-routed via Marion Street, Dawson Road, Plinguet Street, Archibald Street and Provencher Boulevard both eastbound and westbound.
