Parents and their babies are invited to shake to the sound of Latin grooves on Saturday, September 12. That’s when Salsa Babies will take place near the finish line of the Manitoba Dragon Boat Festival at The Forks at 3:15 p.m. Moms and dads will learn the basic steps to popular Latin Dances, while babies shake maracas and bounce along to the Salsa beat. The 30 minute demo is open up to anybody, with or without children.

The following day, Salsa Tots will take place at 2:00 p.m. near the finish line. This parent and tot class is full of fun, tropical songs and steps for toddlers up to 4-years. The 30 minute demo is again open to all parents, with or without their babies.

Both events are being put on by Virage Dance Co.
