The all new Home Run Sports store opened its doors on April 13, but officially held their grand opening on Thursday. Mayor Sam Katz was on hand, along with other dignitaries, including city councillors.
The massive store features over 8,800 items, but you won’t find any hockey equipment, only clothing, such as jerseys and socks.
The old location on St. Mary’s Road was closed in January to make way for the big move. The extra space is definitely justified, which makes for a very bright atmosphere. If you’re in the area, stop by and take a look. Home Run Sports is located at 20 De la Seigneurie Blvd., just off Bishop Grandin.
