The Living Prairie Museum (2795 Ness Avenue) will host the 16th Annual Spirit of the Prairie Celebration this Sunday, September 13 from noon to 4 p.m.
It’s a day filled with family fun where you can discover Manitoba’s pioneer past. Bake bannock over an open fire, view pioneer artifacts, and dress up in traditional outfits, among other free activities.
The day will be as follows:
12:30 p.m. — Guided Prairie Hike- discover the edible plants of the prairie.
1:30 p.m. — Storytelling with Joe McLellan / Guided Prairie Hike
2:30 p.m. — Bird Release- Manitoba Wildlife Rehabilitation Organization will release a rehabilitated bird onto the prairie!
3:15 p.m. — Guided Hike for Kids
