This Sunday, Assiniboine Park will salute grandparents in a day filled with all sorts of activities for the entire family.
From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., grandparents, grandchildren and everyone in between are invited to head down to the park and make a stop at the zoo while they’re there.
A dedication of a Polar Bear statue to Debby and Skipper will happen at the Assiniboine Park Zoo at 10:30 a.m. Grandparents who are accompanied by their grandchildren (2-12 years old, and who pay regular admission of $2.40) will receive free admission to the zoo that day.
