Broadway Avenue was shut down for part of Sunday in celebration of Ciclovia — an event that promotes healthy living and active transportation. Fun activities lined the street, along with vendors and bicycle tuneup pit stops.
Ciclovia events have been taking place all around the world and originally began in Colombia. Winnipeg was the first city to hold the event in Canada.
