A 21-year-old man in Shreveport, Louisiana was arrested and charged earlier this week when he pulled over the mayor.
Daniel Niederhelman — who works for a security company — placed a flashing red light on his dash to avoid traffic on his way home. Mayor Cedric Glover pulled over when he saw the light, but the driver sped past him without stopping. Glover followed the man to his home and called police.
Police seized the unauthorized light, along with a handgun in a holster. The suspect was charged with impersonating an officer.
