NDP leadership candidate Greg Selinger vowed today to boost construction of public housing units if elected. Selinger committed to build at least 300 units per year for the next 5 years.
He also announced today that Fort Rouge city councilor Jenny Gerbasi (above) and former NDP cabinet minister Muriel Smith will be supporting him.
To stomp out any favouritism on our side, we offered to cover Mr. Ashton and Mr. Swan’s campaigns as well, but their reps didn’t get back to us.
