Manitoba RCMP busted a grow-op in the RM of Elton on Sunday. Police seized 19 marijuana plants, 1/4 pound of marijuana, 2 sawed off shot guns, another shot gun and a rifle unsafely stored, and plenty of related growing and drug paraphernalia.
Police say they believe that the grow-op had been on going for several months due to the sophistication of the grow environment.
The estimated street value of the drugs seized is approximately $20,000.
One man from the RM of Elton faces drugs and weapons charges. He was released and will appear in Brandon court on November 12.
This is the second grow-op in recent weeks that was raided. On September 10, authorities busted an operation in the RM of Stuartburn.
