Popular Child’s iPhone App Developed Locally

iPlayPhone - Apple iPhone ApplicationA local software developer has won the praises of Parenting Magazine by naming his application for the Apple iPhone as 3rd best.

Winnipegger Ryan Neudorf developed iPlayPhone for ages 2 and up. In a piece on the magazine’s website titled 25 iPhone Apps for Kids, the mag says the app is, “Designed for the curious toddler (a.k.a. all toddlers) iPlayPhone lets (them) have all the fun and feel of a real iPhone without calling Tokyo. Just start the application and let your kid go crazy pressing the brightly colored buttons and chattering to her imaginary friends on the other end.”

The app is currently available via iTunes for $0.99.
