Winnipeg firefighters spent Tuesday afternoon putting out a blaze on the roof of a heritage building at 92 Gomez Street.
Crews were called to the four-storey warehouse at around 1 p.m. Three firefighters were injured during the battle, which sent one to hospital when a piece of equipment fired back at him.
Traffic in the area was disrupted until at least 3:30 p.m. The Winnipeg Free Press did something pretty neat and went live from the scene on their website. Although the video was a bit choppy at times and a train blocked their shot, it was still interesting to see things unfold.
