Eight cultural organizations teamed up during the summer to launch a brand new arts and culture website at CultureOnEveryCorner.ca.
The website features exclusive promotions and discounts, it is free to register, and contains a calendar that organizers hope will capture most of the arts and culture activities of non-profits groups in Winnipeg. The official launch was Tuesday afternoon in the Canwest Place Plaza at Portage and Main.
Partners of the site include the Manitoba Museum, Manitoba Chamber Orchestra, Manitoba Opera, Manitoba Theatre Centre, Prairie Theatre Exchange, Royal Winnipeg Ballet, Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra and the Winnipeg Art Gallery.
