Canadian Science Centre for Human and Animal Health

Here’s your opportunity to get up close and personal with some of the world’s deadliest viruses… but at a safe and protected distance, of course.

The Canadian Science Centre for Human and Animal Health is holding a rare open house this Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Located at 1015 Arlington Street, the centre houses national infectious disease laboratories where scientists can work safely with Ebola, H1N1, West Nile, avian influenza, listeria, anthrax and foot and mouth disease.

Attendees can check out information displays, safety equipment, videos and presentations.
