NDP leadership candidate Greg Selinger received the support of popular Winnipeg North MP Judy Wasylycia-Leis this morning.
“I am supporting Greg because he cares deeply about the people I represent and would make a great leader for all Manitobans,” Wasylycia-Leis said in a news release. “He is ready to lead our party and province today and lead us to victory in 2011.”
“I am pleased to have Judy join our team,” said Selinger. “She has worked very hard and has represented Winnipeg North and our province with distinction. I look forward to working with her on the issues that affect the people she represents.”
The leadership convention begins October 17.
