Manitoba Hydro Workers Go on Strike

Manitoba HydroAbout 3,000 Manitoba Hydro workers started walking picket lines tonight at 6 p.m., after talks with the utility, and the workers’ union broke down earlier today.

As we reported earlier, this will be the first strike in the company’s 48-year history.

Local 2034 IBEW’s website states that nine picket lines are set up in Winnipeg, including others across the province.
