New numbers from the City of Winnipeg today show that since its January 2009 debut, the 311 service has handled more than 1.5 million inquiries. 1,508,109 calls and 34,512 e-mails to be exact.
Almost half of those inquiries — 499,674 phone calls and emails — came in between July 1 and September 30.
Among the most frequent information requested; transit schedules and golf tee time bookings.
The next quarterly report from 311 will come out in January 2010.
