A tentative settlement was reached at around 4:30 p.m. today in the Manitoba Hydro strike.
3,000 workers walked off the job last Friday, which was the first strike in the company’s 48-year history.
In a posting on its website, the union representing the workers (IBEW Local 2034) says, “It is a fair general increase for all members over a duration of less than 3 years.”
Employees could be back to work as early as tomorrow if they vote in favour of the new deal.
