Winnipeg experienced its first snowfall of the season on Friday, which left a fair number of motorists on the side of the road on the outskirts. RCMP reported several accidents in rural areas, and even advised against travel on the Perimeter Highway at around 8 p.m.
Inside the city, things were a bit calmer.
