Doer Passes the Baton to Selinger in Last Day at Legislature

October 19, 2009 7:00 AM | Videos

The unofficial transfer of power occurred Sunday as outgoing Manitoba Premier Gary Doer and premier-designate Greg Selinger met for the last time before both beginning their new jobs.

The two took part in a photo op and made brief small talk in Room 204 of the Legislative Building in front of media. Selinger checked out his new digs, as Doer noted it wasn’t the first time the former minister had been in his office.

Watch:

Selinger will be sworn in at 11 a.m. today.
