Members of the Manitoba Bisons women’s basketball team are proudly wearing pink jerseys as part of Breast Cancer Awareness/Prevention Week. From now until October 25, you can bid on these jerseys for a minimum of $100 and a maximum of $200 (which guarantees you a jersey). All the money raised goes to support the fight against breast cancer.

To lock in a bid, contact head coach Pam Danis — who spearheaded the initiative — at 474-8785 or e-mail danisp@cc.umanitoba.ca. The goal this year is $10,000.
The team’s next game is 6 p.m. on Friday against Toronto at the Investors Group Athletic Centre.
