The Central Canada Comic Con invades the Winnipeg Convention Centre beginning today with Adam West as the headliner, who played Batman on the 1960s television series. Younger fans may know him from his voice work on “Family Guy” (right). Julie Newmar will also be there, who played Catwoman on the classic show for 13 episodes.

Iconic wrestler the Honky Tonk Man will also make an appearance, not to mention the plethora of fans who don’t need Halloween as a reason to dress up for the occasion.

Last year, attendees were treated by the presence of Lou Ferrigno, who played the Hulk in the 70s and 80s.

The show opens today at 5 p.m. for a special preview, and runs throughout the weekend until Sunday.

Tickets are available at Ticketmaster.
