The 4th annual Aboriginal Peoples Choice Music Awards were handed out Friday night at MTS Centre.
A number of Winnipeggers took home hardware, including homegrown gal Sierra Noble (right) for Best Country CD “Possibilities.”
Other local winners included:
— Eagle & Hawk (Best Group or Duo)
— Brown Eagle – In the Spirit of Brown Eagle (Best Pow Wow CD)
— Eagle & Hawk – Sirensong (Best Rock CD)
— Tracy Bone – No Lies (Aboriginal Songwriter of the Year)
