Gary DoerCanada’s Ambassador to the United States will make his first official visit back to Winnipeg since beginning his new job in Washington in October.

Former Premier Gary Doer will address the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce at a special luncheon on Monday afternoon.

A lot has happened for Doer since announcing his plans to leave his post on August 27, but he still has Manitoba on his mind. He will speak about the province’s economic and trade partnerships over the past decade.

Last Wednesday, Doer met with President Barack Obama at the White House to discuss Buy American policies.
