Manitoba Bison Desiree Scott ends her fifth and final year with the women’s soccer team with a well deserved honour.
Scott was named as 2009 CIS First Team All-Canadian at the midfielder position on Wednesday. This is the first ever CIS All-Canadian recognition for Scott, 22, who was also selected as a 2009 Canada West First Team All-Star.
Scott, with fellow teammate Caley Miskimmin, is just completing training and attending the Canadian National Women’s Soccer training camp that occurs from Novemer 3-14 in Sunrise, Florida. This was the first camp invitation for both Bisons at this national level.
