What is Poverty? Survey Results Unveiled

November 17, 2009 10:05 AM | News

Back in April, the United Way and Urban Exchange asked for input from the public on what poverty means to them in the city of Winnipeg.

Over 2,800 people responded and their answers helped shape the report that was released this week on the findings. About 66% of the respondents were females aged 25-34 and the majority of those who took the survey resided in the southwest corner of the city — about 27.9%.

Complete findings of the survey can be found on YourCityYourSay.ca
