Mmmm … 300 Dozen Cupcakes!

November 18, 2009 4:43 PM | News

Chocolate CupcakeThursday morning on your way to work, swing by the Shindico parking lot near Confusion Corner (Organza & Dollarama lot) and pick up a few cupcakes.

Local radio station CURVE 94.3 and The Cupcake Corner will be teaming up in support of the United Way to sell 300 dozen of the tasty treats.

A dozen sells for $15 with $7 from every purchase going directly to the United Way. Drivers won’t even have to get out of their vehicles as the many volunteers on-site will bring the orders right to their windows.

Drivers will also get free coffee and a copy of the Free Press. Sounds like a good way to start your morning, huh?

Sarah and Jay from the CURVE morning show will be there as well and have created their own unique cupcake for sale, which Sarah describes as, “a spice cake bottom with graham cracker bits, stuffed with pumpkin cheesecake and then topped with a cream cheese icing. It’s going to be ridiculous.”

The event runs from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. BYOM (bring your own milk) to wash down those yummy cupcakes.

UPDATE: November 19 — Over $3,000 was raised for the United Way.
