Two Sent to Hospital in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Perimeter

Traffic came to a standstill Tuesday morning after an accident on the Perimeter Highway involving two vehicles and a grader.

The crash happened on the West Perimeter south of Inkster Boulevard just before 7 a.m.

RCMP are still investigating what lead to the collision, but it is believed that the grader operator was crossing the West Perimeter Highway from the east to the west when the crash happened.

A 35-year-old man driving the Pontiac Sunfire remains at Health Sciences Centre in stable condition, while the 43-year-old man of the Chevrolet Impala was treated and released from Grace Hospital.

The grader operator was not injured.
