The Manitoba Legislative Building will hold its annual open house on Saturday, December 5.

The public will be able to meet Premier Greg Selinger, cabinet ministers and MLAs from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

The Blue Room, the lieutenant governor’s reception room, will be open for public viewing and the office of Speaker of the house will be open, as well as party caucus rooms and offices, the legislative reading room and the clerk of the legislative assembly’s office.

Activities for the entire family are planned, including a ventriloquist, musician Richard Antonio, Bobus the Clown, and a special guest from the North Pole at 1:30 p.m. on the Grand Staircase.

Visitors are asked to bring along a non-perishable food item or unwrapped toy for the Christmas Cheer Board.
