‘Angel Squad’ Collecting Donations for MHC

December 8, 2009 6:48 AM | News

Misericordia Health CentreMisericordia Health Centre’s 14th annual Angel Squad Campaign will begin today collecting donations from passing motorists during the morning rush hour.

From 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. Tuesday to Thursday, the squad will be taking over the Maryland Bridge wearing gowns, wings and halos. The idea is to make donating as easy as possible, and therefore, will ask motorists to pull in and give a “drive-thru” donation.

MLAs and MPs will be helping out, along with Mayor Sam Katz and other dignitaries.

Proceeds go directly to vital care and programs for patients and residents at Misericordia Health Centre.

Donations can also be made by calling 22-ANGEL, or online.
