When a number of media personalities, musicians and athletes came together to record the holiday song Empty Bowl Winter in support of Winnipeg Harvest, they all signed a ceramic bowl for the occasion.
Now that bowl is being auctioned off with all money raised going directly to Harvest.
Bidding began Tuesday and will continue up until noon on Monday, December 21. A reserved bid has been set at $80, and bids will be accepted in minimum increments of $20. To bid, call 982-3669.
The highest bidder by closing will not only get the colourful signature bowl, but they will also receive a performance by singer/songwriter Sheena Grobb — who wrote and performed “Empty Bowl Winter” — in the comfort of their own home and in the company of their family and friends. Juno nominee Dan Donahue has also agreed to donate three hours of professional studio time so that the winning individual can get a chance to record their very own original song.

You can download a copy of the song at SheenaGrobb.com. All proceeds will also go to Winnipeg Harvest.
