Siloam Mission received an early Christmas gift Wednesday morning in the form of a large food donation.
Keystone Processors Ltd. donated 200 lbs of ground beef, 60 lbs of roasts and more than 50 lbs of soup bones to the Princess Street mission.
“It hasn’t been an easy time for cattle producers over the past few years,” said Kelly Penner, president, CEO and a cattle producer for Keystone Processors Ltd. “But we believe strongly in supporting our community. The holidays remind us that kindness is a value that should never be in short supply. There are too many hungry people in our own backyard and we’re happy to make this small donation to help.”
Keystone is a farmer-owned Manitoba company.
