The Winnipeg Goldeyes signed shortstop Wes Long Saturday to the 2010 roster.
Long was in town to act as an instructor at the club’s annual Princess Auto Holiday Skills Camp at the U of W’s Duckworth Centre.
Long, 27, had a great start with the team in 2009, earning Player of the Month honours for May after hitting .413 with .439 on-base and .587 slugging percentages.
