Cheer Board Still Needs Volunteer Drivers

By Sarah Klein

The Christmas Cheer Board has delivered a little more than 15,000 hampers so far, but could still use the help of volunteer drivers.

In an e-mail Sunday, executive director Kai Madsen said they are almost caught up, but wish to remind people to call ahead first before showing up to help.

The warehouse this year is at the Red River Ex grounds and will be open Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Thursday 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

If you can help deliver hampers, call 989-5680.
