Traffic on the Perimeter Highway between St. Mary’s Road and St. Anne’s Road is blocked to westbound traffic at this hour.
RCMP say a semi-trailer truck travelling eastbound lost control and skidded across the median blocking westbound lanes.
Traffic is being diverted through city streets and onto service roads.
There are no reported injuries.
UPDATE: 7:45 p.m. — Westbound lanes have now reopened.
