Winnipeg received quite the dumping of snow over the last several days, and now residential streets will get the same treatment the major routes received Saturday.
Beginning tonight, city crews will plow residential streets and back lanes, thus causing the overnight residential parking ban to be in effect. Parking on streets not designated as snow routes will be prohibited between midnight and 6 a.m. The residential ban will be in place until plowing is complete — usually 3-4 days.
Streets that are designated as snow routes will have the parking ban in place between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m.
If you’re confused about where you can or cannot park, call 311 or visit the city’s website.
