A local Winnipeg shopping mall has partnered with LiteracyWORKS to provide adults and youth with valuable reading material.
Portage Place Shopping Centre and the non-profit organization are accepting new or used books now until February 19. For every donation made, a free movie pass for four to the classic family film “The NeverEnding Story” will be provided.
Books are being accepted at the mall’s customer service desk on the second floor. All books collected will be included in the LiteracyWORKS book sale taking place in Edmonton Court February 22-26.
The free family film will screen on Saturday, February 27 at the Globe Cinema.
