A new Facebook group is making it easier for local bloggers to connect and network with each other.
Winnipeg Bloggers appeared on the social networking website Thursday in an effort to unite everyone in one place.
While the number of those signed up is only near a dozen, blogging in this city is still an up-and-coming pass time.
Vanessa from Last-Nights-Leftovers.com started the group, and is currently in the process of trying to organize a meetup among Winnipeg’s blogging community.
A similar initiative was aimed at Winnipeg’s Twitter community in September, when Twestival was held to raise money for charity. Shortly before that, tweeps gathered at Confusion Corner Bar and Grill to introduce each other.
An official gathering of local bloggers has yet to happen.
