A leading economist from Paris, France is coming to Winnipeg tomorrow as part of his only Canadian stop.
Dr. Gérard Duménil, economist and retired Research Director of the Centre National de la Recherche Scientique, will deliver a public lecture uncovering the roots of the current global economic crisis, discussing its political consequences and the opportunities it presents.
One of the world’s premier theorists of neoliberalism and economic crisis, Dr. Duménil will deliver the public lecture at the Winnipeg Art Gallery on Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m.
Dr. Duménil is in the city at the request of the University of Manitoba to attend a seminar.
