Plowing of residential streets will begin Wednesday morning at 7 a.m., the city said today.

To help crews work efficiently, an overnight parking ban is in effect Wednesday night at midnight. That means you can’t park on any street between midnight and 6 a.m. not designated a snow route.

The ban on streets labeled as snow routes is in effect one more night until the city can finish plowing on collector streets.

Last week, a new feature was added to the city’s website to give citizens a heads up on when their street will be plowed. You can visit Winnipeg.ca and enter your address to see if your street is on the list for crews to plow. The information will be updated at 2 p.m. daily.

Alternatively, you can call 311 for information on whether your street will be cleared or not.
