The business community was pitched plans to revitalize Assiniboine Park at a Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce breakfast meeting last week. Margaret Redwood, CEO of the Assiniboine Park Conservancy, told business leaders the state of the park is deteriorating.
Upgrades to the 106-year-old destination are expected to cost $180 million over the next 10 years.
