It’s the third time in the past week that the Red Sun Gas Station and Smoke Shop in the RM of Rosser has been robbed, or attempted to be robbed.
RCMP say the latest incident occurred Friday at about 10 p.m. when four armed men stormed the convenience store. Wearing disguises to conceal their identity, the suspects made off with cash and cigarettes. No one was injured.
Police are now looking for their vehicle — a 1996 White Dodge Ram pickup truck with Wisconsin plate GC9061.
Stonewall RCMP are investigating with the assistance of the RCMP Major Crimes Unit and the Winnipeg Police Service.
The store is located on Highway #236 just north of the junction of Highway #236 and Highway #6.
UPDATE: The truck was located early Sunday morning in Winnipeg. Police have a 15-year-old male and an 18-year-old male in custody.
