The Winnipeg Goldeyes signed catcher Luis Alen to their 2010 roster Tuesday.
The announcement comes weeks after the team made their last signing, which now boasts the list of players ready to go in the spring to 16.
Alen, 24, returns to Winnipeg after he enjoyed his best career season here in 2007. Following time in Italy and before that as Marlins property, he had a career year in 2007 with the Goldeyes, batting a team-leading .333 with three home runs and 44 runs batted in.
The Venezuela native represented the club at the Northern League All-Star Game and was named to the NL All-Star Team, among holding several other honours.
Training camp opens May 4 at Canwest Park.
