Here’s your good news story of the day that shows decent people still exist:
Winnipeg police reported today that on January 30, a person attended the East District police station to turn in a wallet found in a parking lot on Regent Avenue.
The individual made numerous attempts to locate the owner of the wallet prior to attending the police station, but without any success. Located within the wallet was a considerable amount of money, along with personal identification.
Police eventually located the owner and returned their wallet, thanks to the efforts of the Good Samaritan.
