Bank of Canada Governor Mark Carney will speak later today about the state of Canada’s economy and monetary policy.
Carney will address members of the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce during a luncheon at Canad Inns Polo Park at 12:45 p.m.
“For our members the state of the economy is always a top priority so having the Governor of the Bank of Canada address the local business community will be an extremely insightful event for The Chamber,” said Chamber President and CEO Dave Angus.
More than 550 people are already registered to attend the event.
