Canadian speed skater Kristina Groves picked up a second medal of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games on Sunday. Groves won silver in the ladies’ 1500-metre race at the Richmond Olympic Oval. Groves won bronze one week ago today in the 3000-metre.
Ireen Wust of the Netherlands won gold and the Czech Republic’s Martina Sablikova won bronze.
Cindy Klassen and Brittany Schussler — both of Winnipeg – finished 21st and 35th.
